Backflow Testing Plumbers in Queensland

These plumbers say they install, test or certify backflow prevention devices, the valves that stop water from a property flowing back into the town supply.

Testable devices are common on commercial sites, properties with rainwater tanks connected inside, irrigation systems and pools. In Brisbane, Council requires testable devices to be tested at least once every calendar year by an endorsed backflow tester and registered with Council, and the tester submits the results within 10 business days. Other councils run their own programs, so check yours.

Ask whether the plumber holds a backflow endorsement, whether they lodge the test results for you, and whether they can send a reminder when the next annual test is due.
